Mac OS X Installation Notes
1) Download the FmProMigratorxxxMacOSX.dmg disk image file from the web site (where xxx is replaced with the version number). 
2) The disk image file should be opened automatically by your browser. Otherwise, just double-click on the file to open it.
3) Copy the application to your Applications folder (or anywhere else you choose). Launch FmPro Migrator by double-clicking on its icon.

Windows Installation Notes
1) Download the FmProMigratorxxxWindows.zip file from the web site to the location where you want it to reside on your hard drive. The application file may be installed anywhere on your hard drive, it does not have to go into the C:\Program Files directory.
2) Use WinZip to decompress the file containing FmPro Migrator.
3) Launch the application by double-clicking on it. You may make a shortcut to the application on your desktop or in the Start/Programs menu. Note: FmPro Migrator on Windows is provided as a zip archive which decompresses to a folder. The folder named "externals" needs to remain with the FmPro Migrator application in order to allow direct access to databases accessed by FmPro Migrator.

New Features/Bug Fixes:
1) Fixed screen redraw issue with MacOS X 10.5.
2) Added support for Step #4/Step #7 data transfer and Step #6 Create Repeating Fields tables for Access, SQL Server, Sybase, Oracle and PostgreSQL 7.2+.
3) Support for BYTEA column types has been added for PostgreSQL databases (requires PostgreSQL 7.2+).
4) Improved robustness of code which writes data into embedded SQLite database, using new bind variables feature of development environment.
5) Fixed issue with pasting layouts into FmPro Migrator via clipboard.
Data Transfer Notes:
The data transfer process is now implemented using an external compiled application which is written into the output directory. 
On MacOSX, the console window is opened to display the progress of the data transfer process.,
On Windows, this external window is not currently opened (but intended for a future release).
To stop the data transfer process, press the Command + Period keys on MacOSX or Control + C keys on Windows.

Version 4.01a80: 1/31/2008 Preview Release
New Features/Bug Fixes:
1) Fixed Perl CGI script generating feature.
2) Made cosmetic fixes with showing/hiding buttons/labels during batch Layout capture.
3) Fixed writing of username/password field data for destination database - when editing fields on the Step 1 screen.

1) Completed Table Consolidation Functionality with completion of object remapping scripting (Step 5) of Table Consolidation screen.
(Note: Table Consolidation feature is fully implemented for the Developer Edition, the EE and Demo editions process 5 objects each).

Version 3.75: 2/18/2006 
1) Corrected fieldsize code to output list of fieldnames on both platforms.
2) Updated Access to FileMaker process to use a DSN-less ODBC connection to Access databases to improve accuracy of getting metadata. On MacOS X, FmPro Migrator now utilizes the Actual ODBC for Access ODBC driver from Actual Technologies (www.actualtechnologies.com).
3) Added support for converting Access Date/Time fields to FileMaker 7/8 TIMESTAMP fields.
4) Enhanced FileMaker to Access migration instructions with info about using the max_fieldsize report.
